Good Magazine ran a photo I took of Shruthi Vijayakumar who spoke about the P3 Foundation “Empowering Youth To End Poverty” at the Festival for the Future. As part of the coverage I shot portraits of the guest speakers. I photographed Shruthi in between speaking sessions, at the Wellington Foyer at Te Papa. Inspiring Stories, […]

Here is a tearsheet from a recent shoot for the School Special cover story on “how to choose your child’s school” in the Wellington region. Wellington Magazine Cover Story: FishHead Dineout Awards 2013

This cover shot was taken at Cafe Polo, 82-84 Rotherham Terrace, Miramar. The owners very kindly let us setup and photograph on a day that the cafe was closed. The cover shot that was chosen happened toward the end of the time we had there. We put together the star and filled it in with […]

We brought some rubbish as backup but were able to find plenty on the beach to supplement the photo shoot.

The crushing of a boy racers dream car, now a display at MOTAT museum

I was called up to cover the receipt of a winning bid on Trademe auction site: A flattened compacted Nissan was waiting for the MOTAT (Museum of Transport and Technology) team who had flown down to collect the future display personally. The car is the first to be crushed as part of new “boy racer” […]

The images are being used on the walls of the […]

These two kids had just had their temporary tattoos done and I remember asking me for them to show them to me for a photo. It […]

Space, Time and Dreams – Vegas photo used as single cover artwork

I was approached by Andy Jaske, a Washington based musician through Flickr. He liked one of the photos I took at Las Vegas which had strange lighting from an electrical storm as well as reflections on the clouds from the Casinos. It was great that he approached and asked permission to use the photo. It always reinforces […]
