These are some of the vendors we have met in the wedding industry and recommend to couples who ask. In no particular order, here they are:

Great local stylist whom I met at the Wellington Wedding Show in 2010.

Invitations and stationary

May Inspired Designs– met at the Grapevine Bridal Fair, they produce elegant designs with great attention to detail. Contact- info@mayinspired.com

Music

The Season of Us This couple performed at the Grapevine Bridal Fair for 3 hours strait and it was a delight to listen to the whole time. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxed, casual, cool sound. Bill and Stephanie were accommodating (they helped hook up my power cord to get power for my laptop) and fun to talk to during the set up and pack down. They were true professionals in the way they kept playing without missing a beat through the afternoon.

Flowers

Never Forget Flowers I worked with Eri on a wedding together. You can see the wedding photos on her site here: http://neverforgetflowers.com/portfolio_4.shtml A very professional and fun vendor to work with.

Videographer

A+ Video Productions worked with this company a couple of years ago- they did a great job

  • Exterior of Museum Building

The Old Museum Building, Massey University, Wellington New Zealand. While I have not photographed here, I have a friend who went to a corporate function and raved about how cool it was. When I had a booth at the Wellington Wedding Show, Massey were across the aisle from the Mark Tantrum Photography booth. They were great company for the whole day, I liked their relaxed demeanor and attitude. Working for a full day next to a group of people is a great way to see their true colours. I definitely recommend this venue for any event that you may be considering. See also this blog entry I did after visiting the venue. http://marktantrum.com/blog/2010/07/location-scout-museum-building-massey-university/
