Tonight we walked past the New York City icon. We wanted to create a powerful image that showed the building in its night time glory. Shooting at night I shot with the Nikon D700 at a high ISO. With a 50mm lens, I was able to easily frame the building from across the street. I worked on the post production to bring out the details that were important in the neon sign while reducing emphasis on the background details.
