Here is a sampling from wedding photos I shot for Amanda and Jacob last weekend. We started coverage at Amanda’s parents house. We grabbed some candids and portraits there in the lovely gardens at side of the house. I especially liked the Japanese inspired Zen garden section. From there we went to Holbrook park in Atherton. The weather was perfect for a late summer day, I was able to get time to shoot portraits of Jacob and the groomsmen before Amanda arrived. The great thing about the venue was that everything was within very close proximity. The ceremony was outdoors in an open courtyard which Amanda entered from a pavilion where there were comfortable and elegant rooms for her and her bridesmaids to get ready in. The reception hall was mere 100 feet away. I was able to shoot family portraits only 100 feet past that in the garden area. This enabled a very relaxed and free flowing day.
