Kilbirnie’s Zephyrometer in tatters

I was driving back from a shoot in Miramar and saw Kilbirnie’s Zephyrometer being inspected by engineers after being tied down. The zephyrometer was hit by lightning during a storm on 14 August 2014. The damage runs through the sculpture by Phil Price. The top was destroyed and large holes are visible at the weight on the base where the lighting possibly exited and connected with the stand or ground.
