Te Papa Time-Lapse Tuesday December 18, 2012

I was commissioned to provide a 2 camera setup time-lapse of an event setup at the Wellington Foyer, Te Papa Museum of New Zealand. The action happened all between 6pm (time access to space given) through to 7:45 pm (15 minutes into guest arrival). Tuesday December 18,2012. At the same time as the time-lapse recording, I provided still photo coverage of the event.

The estimated time allowed is 2hrs of recording, condensing to a minute of time-lapse on each camera. The formula I’m working to is a frame every 12 seconds. 2hrs x 60 seconds x 60 minutes = 7,200 seconds/ 12 = 600 frames. Play back I estimate will be 10 fps = 60 seconds.
