While in Christchurch for a wedding, we managed to get down and check out the downtown shopping district made out of shipping containers! It’s called Re:Start Christchurch. The space was hopping with shoppers, great to see for a city that needs creative and positive innovation. The space is semi-permanent, so that when development occurs the containers can be moved out.
