Some shots of mine ran in the Sunday Star about the Veuve Clicquot celebrated the social season with another of its unique events, Clicquot Petanque, at St Johns Bar in Wellington. It was a rare day with no wind and blue skies with the party outside the bar. One of the funny highlights was a member of occupy wellington stealing a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and running off with it. Only to realize that the decorative bottles that lined the Petanque court were actually empty. He thoughtfully disposed of the bottle in a rubbish bin on his way back to the tent city!
