Chief of Police for San Jose recieves special award

Recipient of the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award Robert L. Davis, Chief of Police, City of San Jose addresses the crowd of fellow Eagle Scouts as well as friends and family. In his speech Mr. Davis reflected on how important it is for young people to have something to believe in and that the Boy Scouts is a great way to get introduced to solid values .

Keynote speaker Steven Holcomb (Eagle Scout sicne 1979) speaks with Dan Russanowsky (Eagle Scout since 1995). Mr. Holcomb is an Olymic gold medalist in bobsled. He discussed what it takes to succeed at the Olympic level as an athlete and also his personal struggle with a degenerative eye disease and overcoming it with experimental, cutting edge treatments.
